Fort replica making competition and Deepotsav

Diwali Celebrations: Fort replica making competition and Deepotsav: For decades, it has been a tradition among the young children in Maharashtra to make miniature replicas of various hill forts, using soil and stones. This is a unique way of blending historical heritage with fun and creativity. JBGVS Samaj Seva Kendra (SSK) had organized an interesting fort making competition at its Akurdi headquarters. A total of 12 groups of children from the surrounding suburbs participated in the same and best performing three groups were felicitated. All participants were given consolation prizes.
